snow plow (2026)
This was from the MNDOT area. They always have a snow plow parked up there, and in 2026, there was a paper snow plow. I've seen (and have) the Metro Transit bus and train paper cut-outs. The plow is fun. I built it while not really paying attention to the parade.
invasive species trading cards (2026)
From the MNDNR (of course). I took every single one. It took a good minute to grab them all without destroying the display because I am very nice and kind.
They're all invasive species found in Minnesota. Most of them are aquatic. I don't know if they focused on just aquatic (or found near water) species or there are just more of them because aquatic invasive species are actually awful.
gar paper hat (2024)
As soon as we entered the fair, we started seeing these people with gar hats. They were everywhere. We didn't find them until the end of our trip to the fair in the agricultural building. We all wore them together.
