Human or fish? No one truly knows.

I am a 26 year old illustrator residing in Minneapolis, MN with a BFA in Illustration. I cherish whimsy, curiosity, and goofs. Much of my interests and illustration work revolve around nature while displaying varied textured and strong shapes.

I go by Isabell/Izzy (she/they), but garfriend is okay. I am obsessed with regular traffic cars, freshwater fish, and finding tiny things. I pick up and drop many hobbies here and there. This website has been the longest and most consistent one so far. Other hobbies I enjoy are crochet, sewing, tattooing, hiking, traveling, and more. My interests vary wildly. Below is some of my interests listed, but I'd consider those more of my "cutesy" interests. The less cutesy interests are rally racing, steam locomotives, military vehicles, milsurp, workwear, bartending (I barely drink), disgusting bugs, pathology, printmaking, etc. etc.

Vertical labret, septum, helix, both nostrils w/ chain across. Hoping to do more on my ears, but I hate cartilage healing.

Left arm: Vela Pulsar + a spiral galaxy both stippled. Right arm: Jarrell Texas 1997 tornado, Ichigotchi, a fish wearing dunks, + a thin band around my forearm. Legs: anomalocaris on calf, jellyfish square on ankle, blue jellyfish around side of knee, + a walleye and gar facing each other above my knees. Torso: lily of the valley across chest + halberd on sternum.

I did all of my tattoos myself!
