As of Feb 13th, the Boundary Waters are still under threat by the American government and a foreign-owned mining company.
H.J.Res.140 was passed by the House, and Senate has delayed their meeting to Feburary 23rd. There is still plenty of time to contact your senators. Tell them to vote "NO" on H.J.Res.140.
If this is passed by Senate, the disgusting pedophile president will very likely sign it into law. This means all public lands will be threatened and will face the same fate as the Boundary Waters. They claim that we depend on imported resources that we could mine in the Boundary Waters, but whatever is mined will be exported. We won't even benefit from it. We only lose those resources and our public lands. This resolution is not beneficial to the American people.
