Tell them to vote "no" on H.J. Res. 140 to protect the Boundary Waters and the future of our
public lands and parks. If passed, it WILL damage the watershed in the Boundary Waters and reverse the
protections passed by the Biden Administration in 2023. It will make it easier to reverse protections on
other public lands too. The minerals mined in the Boundary Waters will be sent offshore. They will not
enter our own supply chain. There are minimal economic benefits. Protecting our public lands are more
important. They are using the current ICE situation to distract us from these other matters.
